The gardens are worth visiting in all seasons, visitors are particularly awed by the wonderful Autumn displays and the profusion of colours in Spring.

The main garden covers 2 hectares. Starting at the riverbank parkland then on to the homestead where the formal beds reflect the era of the house. From there the garden “rooms” extend into corridors of bird habitats that reach beyond the Caravan Park.

Plenty of places to sit and marvel at the beauty of nature or enjoy a peaceful moment

The Gardens have hosted many events in it’s 100 year history. Photos taken at family weddings and parties show the changes from a delightful small cottage garden to the extensive, but still delightful,  gardens you see today. The Browne family love sharing the garden with visitors and offer it as a venue to hold your own wedding or event.

Visitors to the garden will enjoy the tranquil and peaceful setting, shared with the pleasant voices of songbirds. There is appeal to both plant or bird lovers with plenty of opportunity to photograph something beautiful.
