We have stayed at this beautiful location many times before but this was out first Christmas stay. We had a wonderful time, our fellow campers/caravaners were a real mix from... read more different cultures, so Australian! We were directly next to 5 families, friends of many years, mixed with their children, speaking in their Indian dialect but also good English. It was Christmas, they were reunited and happy, animated and full of laughter, playing their colourful music and cooking their traditional foods at times. Five families using one camp kitchen, taking it in turns to cook for at least 20 people not an easy task when in tents. We were invited to join them and were delighted to do so. At no time were we upset by the noise from these families, it did not continue too late, we simply accepted this was Christmas and we needed to live and let live. Phil and Cate are a wonderful couple, always happy to please. It is a working farm and they cannot always be present in the office, or on patrol, also this is due to health reasons. We will return and return and know we will be satisfied and happy.

  We arrived here in the evening, in the pouring rain. A note on the office said to park up and call if we had any problems or questions. Our campervan... read more then sunk in the mud & slid close to a tree so we did have to call for help. They were extremely understanding, kind, reassuring and helpful, and got us out of a situation we never could have solved ourselves. In the light of day, the campsite was clean and very pretty, and we loved meeting and feeding the calf, watching the birds, and wandering about in the garden. We took their advice and drove up the hill to see the view, and into nearby Nannup for the Tulip Festival, which happened to be that weekend. A lovely spot, and such kind people!

A wonderful location in the countryside, with farm life around you and set in among the trees. Many are deciduous and so... read more the colours of falling leaves is extra special.
Great amenities too, with some of the best personal shower/toilet facilities we've come across and a camp kitchen which is hard to beat.
With wonderfully friendly hosts, we hope to return again...and again 🙂
